Artists like to see their works to be accepted and admired. Some years ago I noticed somebody wrote a text which title was "Nobody gives a shit for your photographs". I've not read it but the idea remained at my head. So many works of all kinds, some of them of great quality and beauty are shown every day through social networks. Some receive lots of feedback, others look like they was not even seen. Here in DeviantArt I can't complain. My photographs always have a kind acceptance. Unusual amount of Favs is something which puts you into alert. Going to see what is about I noticed many many favorits on the same work. A new DD award would be the reason to it. Yes it was! I felt happy, indeed. A DD is not a quality certificate, nevertheless is a signal, someone liked, someone agreed and the award was a reallity.
